Anjit Bista the program designer and chief administrator of OCAYHN and PSARC is making his first visit to the United States.  He lands in Salt Lake November 29th, just in time for the 5th Annual Padma Winter Party.  He’s staying until January and we have several fundraisers and speaking engagements scheduled for him to talk about his work and experience benefiting others in Nepal.  Having never left Nepal he is more than a little nervous about the logistics of international travel and has on several occasions asked me if I am sure the planes he’ll be on are safe.  I assure him they are.  Rama and Mommy will run OCAYHN, and our dear friend Imand will look after PSARC in Anjit’s absence.  Besides sharing his stories and learning from social workers and organizations in the states we will be sure to show Anjit the finer things of America and are excited to include him as a Hanley for the holidays.
