Anisha Lama
Anisha is 6 years old. Her family is originally from Southwestern Nepal. Her mother migrated to Kathmandu for work and now works as a carpet weaver. Her father doesn’t stay with the family and her mother had a brain injury as a child. Anisha’s two brothers also work as carpet weavers.
Anisha is closest in age to Bebina and they tend to pal around together. She doesn’t much care for a certain noodle soup we have for snack on Wednesdays. One week she told Bebina there was mouse droppings in the soup hoping her story would get a different snack. Instead she got in trouble and Bebina still won’t touch noodle soup. Anisha loves dancing and is a natural badminton player. You can often find her humming her favorite songs to herself.
