It’s only a few weeks away, and we’re busy getting ready for the 4th Annual Padma party. This year it’s at Fuego Bistro & Pizzaria in Park City on Friday, December 4th. We’re pleased to announce some new additions to the Padma website. Most notably, a page dedicated to our Director of Operations in Nepal, the one and only Anjit Bista! You can also find his contact info on our Contact page. 2009 is rapidly coming to a close, thank you everyone for helping make another year at Padma a success, and continuing to give hope to our kids in Nepal.
Just got back from the 10th annual fundraiser at the Jeremy that Padma was invited to. I think we did really well. One of Pasang’s tapestries sold for over $2000! I’m hoping this brings a lot more attention to the organization and to the website, which means I’ve got my work cut out for me!
In anticipation, I’m planning on introducing some new features. One of them will be a subscription option to this blog, so subscribers can get email updates — I’m hoping we can get the newsletter posted on the blog (as well as smaller updates in between), to keep everyone informed about what’s going on in Padma. I’ve also got some bigger ideas planned that are top secret, but will be revealed soon. Stay tuned!

You are invited to a fundraiser/dinner to benefit
Padma. The event is on September 5th from
6pm-midnight at the Jeremy Country Club in Park City.
$40 at the door gets you dinner and drinks all night.
There will also be a silent and live auction with over
100 items up for bid. All donations will be split
between Padma and two other organizations. If you’re
